St. Martin's is a residential care home for the elderly, with facilities for those with dementia.
Situated in Westcliff-on-Sea, near Southend in Essex, St. Martin's is a character residence set in extensive and quiet gardens.
We offer a friendly, homely atmosphere with attentive staff giving 24-hour care.
Residents are encouraged to enhance their rooms with their own small items of furniture, pictures, ornaments etc.
Relatives and residents are actively encouraged to give their views on the running of the home. Visitors are welcome at any time.
St. Martin's is registered with the Charity Commission and is a non-profit making organisation. A Board of Trustees is responsible for the professional and dedicated staff who manage the residence. The Home is registered with Social Services, South Essex Care Homes Association and the Commission for Social Care Inspection. In 2007,
St. Martin's was awarded PQASSO Level 3, the first charitable care home in the area to achieve the highest level in this Quality Assurance system.

!!!*** St. Martin's is awarded four stars for food hygiene ***!!!
An Environmental Health inspection took place recently at St. Martin’s and we are pleased to announce that we achieved a four star rating! Ratings range from zero to five; five being the highest and which is usually only awarded to newly built kitchens. The score takes into account three things—food hygiene standards, structural standards and confidence in the way that food safety is managed at the business. That means that the inspection and the score considers not just what hygiene was like at the time of the inspection but what it is likely to be like in the future. This is an excellent achievement, not only for the home but for the residents who eat and drink the products of our kitchen. Congratulations go out to all our kitchen staff who contributed to this result.
