Fundraising

St. Martin's is funded by residents' fees and charitable giving. The Fund Raising Commitee are dedicated to organising interesting and varied events and activities to raise vital funds for St. Martin's. In 2009 the committee raised £6,014. Forthcoming Events

Fashion Show

This joint event between St Martin's and The Lodge of True Friendship will take place on Friday 17th September at King Edmund School, Vaughan Close, Rochford. Tickets cost £5 each and this includes refreshments and a glass of wine. To purchase tickets please phone 01702-433802 or 01702-296179. Start time is 7.30 for 8pm.

At 7pm on Sunday 19th September there will be a charity Bridge Evening at Thorpe Bay Bridge Club. Tickets are £5 and this includes light refreshments. Contact Bob Riley for tickets/ further details.

Our next quiz night will be at St Martin's on Saturday 25th September. Tickets are £4 (without food) or £7 (with food.) For further information and tickets contact Bob Riley.

Recent Events

24th July saw one of our regular quiz nights at St Martin's. 6 teams competed and a total of £207 was raised.

June 2010  On 26th June a Table Sale was held at St Martin's. Plant and bric-a-brac stalls were the order of the day and cups of tea and coffee were also available. A grand total of £139.64 was raised.

November 2009: On 3rd November 2009 St Martin's and the Lodge of True Friendship held a joint fashion show at King Edmund School, Rochford. Over 60 people attended and over £500 was raised for the benefit of St Martin's residents and Masonic charities. The High Street branded clothes were provided by the Kat-Walk Company and shown off by six models. After the show there was a chance to buy the clothes at very favourable prices.
